Documents relatifs à la revue Traits fondée en 1940 après la défaite de la France. Les rédacteurs Jean DESCOULLAYES, Gérard BUCHET, Jean RICKLI, accompagnés d'Alfred WILD, Jean MOSER, Pierre BEAUSIRE, collaborateurs réguliers, avec l'appui d'Edmond GILLIARD, ont rassemblé chaque mois des opinions et documents relatifs à l'actualité, soulignant l'importance du mouvement de résistance suisse.
La revue a publié des écrivains et poètes suisses tels qu'Edmond GILLIARD, Claude AUBERT, Georges HALDAS, Pierre-Louis MATTHEY pour ne citer qu'eux. Dès la fin 1941, Traits publie également des auteurs français, notamment Alban VISTEL, Louis ARAGON, Jean CAYROL, Paul ELUARD, Pierre Emmanuel LOYS MASSON, François MAURIAC, Henri MICHAUX et Pierre SEGHERS.
